After the super success of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, makers of the franchise are now planning for the third instalment. Aanand L Rai and writer Himanshu Sharma have reportedly finalised the plot for the third part.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3‘ seamlessly picks up where the first two films left off. Described as a true sequel, the storyline has been crafted to naturally evolve into a trilogy.Staying faithful to the charm of its predecessors, the third installment promises a delightful mix of humor, romance, and drama. The report also added that Aanand L Rai has locked in the core concept, with plans to begin filming in the latter half of 2025.
The report further stated that ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’ will showcase Kangana Ranaut in a groundbreaking triple rolewhile R Madhavan will reprise his singular role. Kangana is thrilled about this unique opportunity, eagerly anticipating a full narration from Aanand L Rai. This film will allow her to explore new facets of her acting skills. Tanu Weds Manu 3 is set to begin filming by July or August 2025, following Aanand L Rai’s completion of Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon.
