This amusing anecdote adds a lighthearted twist to an otherwise intense moment in his career.
Reflecting on the incident, Hrithik recounted how he showed up on set one day, only to discover he had mistakenly prepared for a different scene instead of the one he was meant to shoot with Rekha.
In a conversation with an Indian entertainment portal, Hrithik shared that when he arrived on set, he realized he had prepared for the wrong scene. He was supposed to perform the emotional moment where Rekha slaps him after he cries out, questioning why he isn’t normal and why God did this to him. This scene, which included a flashback, was the most intense and challenging in the film, and due to some miscommunication, he hadn’t prepared for it.
Hrithik humorously noted that his anxiety grew even more because his father, Rakesh Roshana practical director, refused to change the filming schedule to accommodate his mistake. Rakesh then added that the scene was pivotal to the film, highlighting its importance by stating it was the moment when Jaadu realizes he needs to help Rohit.
Hrithik, looking back on that scene, expressed his gratitude for Rekha’s genuine slap, saying it brought all the emotions to the surface. He emphasized that she truly went for it, making the moment incredibly impactful.
