Vidya Balan recently shared her experience working with Madhuri said on the song ‘Ami Je Tomar 3.0‘. The actress revealed that, unlike Madhuri’s former co-stars Aishwarya Rai and Karisma Kapoorshe had to put in extra effort as she wasn’t a trained dancer.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Vidya explained that as someone without formal dance training, she had to put in extra effort to keep up with the legendary dancer. Recognizing the challenge, Vidya embraced the opportunity, focusing on enjoying the moment rather than stressing over comparisons to her accomplished co-stars, Aishwarya Rai and Karisma Kapoor.
In an earlier interview with Hindi Rush, Anees Bazmee shared that he always wanted to work with Vidya Balan, especially after her involvement in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007). Her return to the franchise after over a decade created significant buzz. Bazmee mentioned that Vidya’s participation played a crucial role in generating excitement for the sequel.
The filmmaker recalled meeting Madhuri Dixit at a party where she praised his films. Recognizing the opportunity, he approached her about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3believing it was the perfect moment. After narrating the story, Madhuri felt everything was in place—the producers, cast, and director—so she agreed to join the project.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee, is the third installment in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. Kartik Aaryan returns as ‘Rooh Baba’ or Ruhaan, with Triptii Dimri as his love interest. Vidya Balan reprises her role as Manjulika, now with a new twist. Madhuri Dixit also plays a key role, adding to the mystery of two Manjulikas. The film also features Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and other notable actors in crucial parts.
