According to reports from Mid-Day, following her debut, Anjini has been cast in a key role in Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar.’ This role is pivotal to the storyline, although details about her character remain under wraps. The film marks Salman Khan’s first collaboration with director AR Murugadossknown for his action-packed narratives.
Anjini Dhawan’s journey in Bollywood is just beginning, and her talent and family legacy also come with the weight of expectations that often accompany star-kids. However, she is keen to clarify that her role in Binny and Family was not handed to her on a silver platter. In an interview with the same publication, she had expressed that despite her familial connections, she had to earn her place through auditions. She stated, “I’ve never been offered a script without an audition, and there have been rejections too.”
On the other hand the production of ‘Sikandar’ began in June 2024 in Mumbai, with filming expected to wrap up by December 2024. The film promises to be an action entertainer featuring a star-studded cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Kajal Aggarwal. It is set to release during Eid 2025.
The soundtrack of ‘Sikandar’ is composed by Pritam, who aims to deliver a mix of dance tracks, romantic melodies, and emotional pieces that resonate with audiences. Following ‘Sikandar,’ Salman Khan is anticipated to begin work on another project with Atlee.
