The Ultimate Edition Huawei Watch is now available in Malaysia for RM 3,799.
Huawei has delivered on its pledge to bring the Watch Ultimate, a high-end smartwatch, to the Malaysian market. Along with the Huawei P60 flagship smartphone and the Mate X3 folding smartphone, the company also released its first wearable device yesterday.
The recently released Watch Ultimate, in case you missed our prior coverage of the item, features a zirconium-based liquid metal case, a ceramic bezel and rear case, and a 2.3 mm sapphire glass screen. The water resistance rating of the wearable is 10 ATM, and it meets ISO 22810:2010 and EN 13319 requirements.
To be clear, Huawei is exclusively delivering the Voyage Blue model to Malaysia, which features titanium alloy straps. The Expedition Black variant with rubber straps may continue to be a China and Europe-only release, at least for the time being.
The smartwatch has a circular 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, a rotating crown in the upper right, and two push buttons on either side. In addition to a speaker, microphone, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth, there are a plethora of sensors on board that can measure things like heart rate, air pressure, depth, and so on.
TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring, TruSleep 3.0 sleep tracking, and ECG/SpO2 monitoring are just a few of the health and fitness tracking capabilities included in the Huawei Watch Ultimate. New Expedition Mode with dual-frequency, five-system GNSS location capability for precise mapping and positioning; connection with Strava and Runtastic Among the many capabilities available on a modern smartwatch are app notifications, phone calls, music playback, and more.
The Watch Ultimate is powered by a 530 mAh battery that, according to the manufacturer, may last for up to 14 days with normal use and up to eight days with heavy use. Wireless charging is supported, and a full charge is rumored to only take 60 minutes.
Currently, you can purchase the Watch Ultimate Voyage Blue for the price of RM 3,799. Wearables by Huawei are available for purchase on the company’s website, in its national Experience Stores, and through Huawei’s own Shopee and Lazada stores.
