The Honor 90 Pro will be a modest improvement, and it will keep its 200-megapixel camera.

In November 2022, Honor released the 80 series, and now they’re finishing up work on the 90 series. Digital Chat Station, a reliable source, claims that the upcoming Pro version will only offer minor improvements over the outgoing model by maintaining the same screen, processor, and primary camera.

The leaker said the Honor 90 Pro will be “inferior” to the yet-to-be-released Oppo Reno 10 Pro+.

The Honor 90 Pro will use a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and its main CPU will run at 3.0 GHz. The screen resolution will be 1224 p, and the dual punch holes for the front-facing cameras will remain unchanged.

The most exciting development is that Honor will continue to use the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor, which can theoretically produce 200 MP photographs. The Honor 80 Pro only had 160 MP, so it remains to be seen if the company will make use of the full resolution this time around.
