A suspicious man was detained near Salman Khan‘s shooting location in Dadar, Mumbai on Wednesday night. The superstar was shooting for his film near the railway line at Matunga.
According to police sources, Salman Khan was at the site when crew members noticed an unidentified man who allegedly mentioned gangster Lawrence Bishnoiwith whom Salman has a long-standing feud. When questioned, the suspect reportedly said, “Bishnoi ko bheju kya? (Should I call Bishnoi?)” He was then taken to the Shivaji Park police station for further questioning.
A senior police official told ETimes, “The detained person is a junior artist. He got into an argument with the bouncers on the set and mentioned Bishnoiwhich is why he was detained. The police are now investigating the matter.”
In recent months, Salman Khan has been receiving threats from the bishnoi gang. Back in April, two gunmen fired shots near his Bandra home. The conflict dates back to a 1998 incident where Salman was accused of hunting and killing two blackbucks, a species sacred to the Bishnoi community. Lawrence Bishnoi has vowed to take revenge on the actor over the incident.

Salman Khan has faced several other threats linked to Lawrence Bishnoi, including incidents where people demanded large ransoms. In October, a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur was arrested for threatening Salman and demanding Rs 5 crore. Just days later, the actor received another death threat with a ransom demand of Rs 2 crore.
In response to these threats, Salman Khan has been given Y+ security, and his residence at Galaxy Apartments is under constant police surveillance. Additionally, Mumbai Police have installed AI-powered CCTV cameras to further enhance security.
On the work front, Salman will be next seen in Sikandar in which he has been paired opposite Pushpa star Rashmika Mandanna. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss, who is known for films like Ghajini and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.
