Sunil Pal’s kidnapping case

Stand-up comedian and actor Sunil Pal was allegedly abducted on December 2. Reports state that he was kidnapped after being invited under the pretense of performing at an event. He was held hostage for nearly 24 hours and then the kidnappers asked for a ransom of Rs 8 lakhs, after which he was released.
Thereafter, Sunil’s wife Sarita registered a zero FIR in Mumbai. The complaint was subsequently transferred to the Lal Kurti police station in Meerut, with the local police launching an investigation into the claims.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Sunil Pal shared an appreciative post to laud the efforts of UP Police, the state government, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for their swift action in the case. He shared a video in which he said, “Namaskar friends, main hun Sunil Pal. As the whole country came to know that on 2nd December, the famous kidnapping incident happened near UP Meerut. You must have heard this. But I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Yogi government, to the UP government, under whose direction the Meerut police, the UP police faced this case bravely and got all the criminals punished as hard as possible.”
He further added, “One shot the main pair and got the harshest punishment and soon you will face the truth and find out who was involved.”
“And what kind of a government is this Yogi going to destroy us? Dear Yogi, I pray to God that you always remain the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in future also. And keep giving instructions to the police. Satyamev Jayate,” concluded the actor.
