The upcoming Diwali box office showdown between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is becoming increasingly competitive. Recent advance booking trends reveal both movies are drawing significant interest, setting the stage for a close race at the theaters.
According to The Indian Express, Ajay Devgn‘s action drama Singham Again is aiming for an impressive Rs 35 crore on its opening day, while Kartik Aaryan‘s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 targets around Rs 25 crore, setting up a strong Diwali box office battle.
The report reveals that advance bookings for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have opened for 4,552 shows, with 63,317 tickets sold, grossing Rs 1.69 crore. Gujarat is the leading region, hosting nearly full houses at 50 of the 965 shows available. The all-India advance booking net collection stands at Rs 4.74 crore, while Singham Again has earned Rs 2.54 crore in net advance bookings.Although Rohit Shetty‘s Singham Again hasn’t surpassed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in ticket sales yet, this is due to its delayed advance bookings, which started later. Despite limited shows in Maharashtra, it received a strong response, opening advance sales for 4,041 shows and selling 25,638 tickets, grossing Rs 75.36 lakh.
The report indicates that the screen ratio between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be 60:40 nationwide. Trade experts predict Singham Again will open around Rs 35 crore, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is expected to debut in the Rs 23-25 crore range.
Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are set to hit theaters on November 1, coinciding with Diwali celebrations. Singham Again is the third film in its franchise and boasts a star-studded cast, including Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singhand Tiger Shroff in key roles.
