‘Singham Again’ has now completed 24 days of its running and now the film is nearing the end of its box office run. It will be seen for the next 1-2 weeks in theatres more with no other major big release. However, the movie has now begun to witness a gradual drop in the everyday collections. One also sees that the newer release, ‘The Sabarmati Report‘ has finally begun to get more numbers than ‘Singham Again’.
After collecting around Rs 15.75 crore in its third week, ‘Singham Again’ made Rs 80 lakhs on fourth friday. It saw a slight bit of growth on Saturday and Sunday. The film made Rs 1.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.9 crore on Sunday. The total collection of the film so far is Rs 240.35 crore. Meanwhile, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ collected Rs 2.6 crore and Rs 3.1 crore each on Saturday and Sunday.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ continues to maintain lead as it collected Rs 3.6 crore on Sunday and the total collection of the film now stands at around Rs 243 crore.
The lifetime collection of ‘Singham Again’ may end up at Rs 250 crore even if it makes Rs 1crore each day in the span of the next 10 days. It still has space till ‘Pushpa 2’ releases in theatres and serves as a major competition to every other release. ‘Singham Again’ could cross the lifetime collections of ‘Drishyam 2’. However, this Ajay-Tabu starrer was a film made on a quite a lesser budget than the Rohit Shetty film, according to trade. Hence, ‘Drishyam 2’ will be considered as a bigger hit.
