Singham Again‘ which released on November 1, has been doing well at the box office but it has finally begun to see a dip as it has entered its fourth week. Meanwhile, the newer release has finally been able to manage a better number on Saturday than the Ajay Devgn starrer.
The Rohit Shetty directorial made Rs 15.65 crore in its third week. On Friday, it just made Rs 80 lakhs at the box office. But it did see a jump again on Saturday which was day 23. The film collected Rs 1.60 crore. Thus the total collection of the movie so far in India is Rs 1.60 crore. Meanwhile, Saturday was the day 9 of the Vikrant Massey starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report‘ and it collected Rs 2.6 crore. So, finally, the newer release is getting more number than the Diwali release. However, there’s been no dip in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and it made the same amount as ‘The Sabarmati Report’. It made Rs 2.60 crore on day 23.
The total collection of ‘BB 3’ so far is Rs 243.60 crore. ‘Singham Again’ is Ajay’s third highest grossing movie after ‘Tanhaji: The Ungung Warrior’ and ‘Drishyam 2’. ‘Singham Again’ may even cross the collection of ‘Drishyam 2’, however, there’s a huge difference in the budgets of these movies and hence, ‘Drishyam 2’ will anyway be a bigger hit. ‘Singham Again’ also boasts of an impressive ensemble which includes Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor.
