Samsung Reveals Deeper Integration With Peloton Bikes and the Galaxy Watch

The Peloton Watch App is being released today, April 4, on Samsung’s Galaxy Watch5 and Watch4 series smartwatches. The app will allow users to connect to the Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Row, and Guide, displaying their heart rate on the screen as they exercise. With the Peloton Watch app, users have greater control over their at-home exercises.

“At Samsung, we think technology should make our lives better in every way.” “It’s important to us, too, and we see it in Peloton,” said Janet Lee, senior vice president of mobile experience at Samsung Electronics America. Our shared dedication to making consumers’ workout routines unique is reflected in this relationship. With these updated features, users will have a clearer perspective on their fitness journey and be better equipped to reach their targets.

A popup will appear to pair the two devices after a user selects a workout on their preferred Peloton equipment and launches the Peloton Watch App on their Galaxy Watch. During a workout, users can hit the “connect” button on their Peloton equipment screen or Wear OS platform to have their heart rate displayed there. Users can keep tabs on their progress toward their health and fitness targets in real time.

“As a member-first company, we are constantly innovating to create the best possible experience for our users; no detail is too small,” stated Peloton’s SVP of Software Development, Viresh Rustagi.

We’re thrilled to offer our members even more opportunities to track their Peloton stats as part of their normal workout regimen thanks to our partnership with Samsung.

All Galaxy Watches running Wear OS 3, such as the Galaxy Watch5 and Watch4 series, are compatible with the Peloton Watch App 3.
