The latest version of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro includes enhanced ambient sound regulation.
The Galaxy Wearable app allows users to choose between three different ambient sound control settings for use with the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Along with the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Watch 5 series, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro (review) in August of last year. The South Korean tech company recently stated that it will be releasing an upgrade to its high-end wireless earbuds that will enhance the ambient sound control capability in honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day.
Currently, customers have a choice between three different granularities when adjusting ambient sound; with the next firmware update, Samsung will introduce a fourth. Those with mild to moderate hearing loss will benefit from this since it will facilitate improved interpersonal communication. Both the left and right earbud volumes, as well as the ‘Ambient Sound’ tone, can now be adjusted independently by the user. The ‘Ambient Sound’ tone can be adjusted from a “soft” setting to a ‘clear’ setting.
The ‘Adapt Ambient Sound’ feature, introduced by the firm, enhances the audibility of ambient noise when using the earphones. According to a clinical investigation conducted by Samsung and the University of Iowa, people with hearing loss can benefit from using the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro because they can better understand speech.
Samsung You may have to wait a long time for the software update that will bring enhanced ambient sound control levels to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro to become available.
