Sabrina Carpenter recently spilled the sweet tea about working with her boyfriend, Barry Keoghan, as her romantic lead in the music video for her single ‘Please Please Please.’ Released in June, Bonnie and Clyde inspire the video and beautifully mirror their sweet romance.
During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Sabrina explained that the decision came from her real admiration for his work as an actor. “I am genuinely, like a not even biased opinion, was like, ‘Who’s the greatest actor that I can find for this music video? And he was next to me, in a chair, and he was so excited about it. And he liked the song, which is great. He’s a fan of the song,” she said, hinting at the chemistry they share both personally and professionally.
“He does like my music a lot,” she added.
Previously, Sabrina recalled working with Barry on the video as “one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.”
