Arijit Singh has earned a massive following and fandom over the years with his musical talent. Now, rappers Ikka Singh and Raftaar have shared insights about the singer’s simplicity despite his huge earnings. They emphasized that the ‘Kesariya’ singer keeps his life hassle-free and hates showing off his wealth.
The duo revealed that he earns a substantial amount for his performances and once bought a duplex apartment in Mumbai after performing at a wedding. In the podcast Honestly Saying, Raftaar expressed his admiration for Arijit Singh, commenting on the vast wealth the singer has accumulated and his humble nature. The rapper pointed out that while many in the music industry, including himself, appear wealthy, Arijit’s financial success far surpasses that. He remarked that Arijit could afford to “have 100 of them for lunch” due to his enormous earnings.

According to him, Arijit’s humble behavior is similar to international rapper Eminem, who keeps his personal and luxurious life away from the limelight.
Raftaar shared more stories about Arijit, highlighting his down-to-earth personality and surprising choices. He recalled an instance where Arijit simply hopped into an auto rickshaw to get home after his car was delayed following one of his shows. Raftaar also shared that, despite being reluctant to perform at weddings, Arijit agreed to do one performance in exchange for a duplex house in Mumbai, which he received for just a 1–1.5 hour show.
Raftaar also stated, “AR Rahman sir takes Rs 3 crores to do a live show. Just check how much Arijit sir takes. It’s about timing as well, but he isn’t making noise about it—and that’s the difference.”
Arijit Singh recently performed at the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, alongside famous artists like Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder Singh, Udit Narayan, and Lucky Ali. Earlier in August, Arijit made history by becoming the first Indian music artist to reach over 100 million followers on Spotify.
