Starring in Kannada and Telugu movies, Rakul Preet Singh slowly turned out to be one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood and recently the actress made a revelation that she was earlier replaced by Kajal Aggarwal in a Prabhas starrer.

The revelation came during Rakul’s talk with Filmfare where she said that she was replaced by Kajal Aggarwal in the Prabhas starrer ‘Mr. Perfect’ which hit the big screens in April 2011.

Reasoning the makers’ decision on her, Rakul said that during that time Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal had delivered back-to-back superhit films.

Rakul Preet Singh considers this incident to have happened for her ‘Best’ as she was not heartbroken and began searching for the next best opportunities.
Further going into much detail about her getting replaced by the Prabhas starrer, Rakul Preet Singh said that she was in her second year in college when she was called for the shoot of the Prabhas film ‘Mr. Perfect’. After finishing the first schedule shoot of the film which lasted four days, she came to know that she was replaced by Kajal when she arrived in Delhi.
‘Mr. Perfect’ makers took this decision as another Prabhas and Kajal film turned out to be a blockbuster during that time and they decided to repeat the same cast in the movie, resulting in Rakul getting replaced by Kajal Aggarwal.
Rakul stays positive on this decision as she considers this to be a business call which happens most of the time when a new girl gets cast in a movie. The actress with the most positive mindset reacted to her replacement by saying, “Okay. There is something better for me.” Proving her words to be true, Rakul is one of the most successful actresses currently in the film industry and her previous outing was the Tamil film ‘Indian 2’ directed by Shankar.
