Karan Johar is a single parent and he welcomed his kids Yash and Roohi via surrogacy in February 2017. The film-maker has admitted many a times that he co-parents his children with his mother Hiroo Johar. He’s also admitted on his chat show ‘Koffee With Karan‘ as to how his friends Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan have also helped him in parenting.
Meanwhile, recently, on the show Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wiveswhich is produced by Karan, he opened up on the fear of his children finding out he’s a single parent and he will have to explain many things to them. This happened when actress Neelam Kothari opened up on her first marriage and divorce with Rishabh Sethia. She revealed how her daughter Ahana found out out about the divorce from google, which left her shocked.
Reacting to it, Karan Johar said, “They will find out things, and I will have to be answerable. Being a single parent, I know I am answerable to my children about so many aspects. Thank you for sharing that, Neelam. It was really beautiful.”

The new additions this time around are Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Kalyani Chawla and Shalini Passi.
