‘Do Patti’ officially released on Netflix on October 25. It is a thriller-mystery film that stars Kajol and Critic I say in the lead roles. The film portrays the story of twin sisters hiding dark secrets, with a relentless police inspector determined to uncover the truth behind an attempted murder. The investigation, which takes place in the picturesque hills of Devipur, Uttarakhand, a fictional town, reveals a complex network of lies and half-truths.
A day before release, makers organised a special screening of ‘Do Patti’ which turned out to be a glamorous affair.Many celebrities marked their presence at the event, which was held on October 24. Stars like Kajol with Ajay DevgnKriti Sanon, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Ahana Kumra, Hina Khan, Shaheer Sheikh, Sunny Kaushal, Rupali Ganguly and many others arrived in their stylish best at the event.
Kriti Sanon made heads turn at the screening as she looked stunning in a black cropped top paired with a dual-toned skirt and black-heeled boots. Ajay Devgn stepped out to support his wife Kajol as he attended the special screening of her film. The couple arrived together at the venue and even happily posed for the paparazzi. The duo looked super-stylish as they twinned in black.
Arjun looked dapper in a black sweatshirt with black jeans, while Shaheer opted for a black t-shirt and black pants.
Shriya Pilgaonkar arrived with her mother Supriya Pilgaonkar at the screening. Manish Malhotra, Abhishek Banerjee, Mushtaq Sheikh, Veer Pahariya, Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, Vatsal Seth with Ishita Dutta, Ashutosh Gowariker with wife Sunita Gowariker, Anand L Rai, Mukesh Chhabra, Kanika Dhillon and many others were also spotted at the do.
Recently in a promotional event, Kriti expressed her excitement about the project. She will be seen in a dual role in the film. In a press note, Kriti shared, “Do Patti is incredibly special to me, not just because it’s my first film as a producer, but also because it allowed me to explore my own duality on-screen. This film has been like my baby; Kanika and I have nurtured it from the start, especially in our capacity as producers and it’s truly fulfilling to see this journey through with Netflix. Do Patti also has a poignant message woven in which is the reason why I chose to produce this film as my first, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”
Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the film also stars Shaheer Sheikh. It will be released on Netflix on October 25. ‘Do Patti’ is produced by Kanika Dhillon and Kriti Sanon.
