From crowdfunding to shelves: the ultrathin AMOLED-display 2-in-1 Robo and Kala

On its Kickstarter page, tablet PC manufacturer Robo & Kala boasted that its product was the lightest and thinnest of its kind. The success of the launch party has allowed the startup to begin selling the 2-in-1 on its website. The smart pen and magnetic keypad for the gadget are now available as add-ons.

The Robo & Kala 2-in-1 crowdfunded its way to becoming a Surface Pro competitor with an AMOLED screen. Like its Microsoft counterpart, it may be used with a separate keyboard and a stylus that features 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

In addition to its “unparalleled portability,” the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 platform helps reduce the device’s weight to 690 grams and its thickness to 7.3 millimeters. The Red Dot Design Award-winning PC was initially crowdfunded on Kickstarter but is now sold on robo-kala.com, where it comes with a “12-month guarantee” and a “30-day no-risk free trial” for backers who were unsure about it at the time.

The PC is now available for that price, with the keyboard and smart pen included in its (somewhat) unique sea green coloring. Both of these add-ons may be found on their primary sales platform for $99 and $59, respectively.
