Finding Wear OS games has never been easier, thanks to the Google Play Store.
In September, Google added a “Other devices” area to the app search on mobile devices, making it simpler to locate Wear OS, TV, and automotive apps. Google has improved the Wear OS games section of Google Play.
After “for you” and “top charts,” you’ll find the “Other devices” tab in the Play Store’s Games feed. Google only displayed the “TV” category at first, but the “Watch” category has since been added.
There are now two categories hand-picked by Google: “Relax with games for your watch: Forget the time” and “Challenging games on the go: Win on your watch.” Just over two dozen books are included.
You can get any of them transferred to your watch from that page. The “Your devices” filter in a search can help you locate games optimized for your specific hardware. Although it’s not ideal, playing games on the Wear OS device’s circular display can be a fun way to kill time.
Google has recently increased the number of Wear OS editorial listings, such as “Spring style in 5 watch faces.” The scope and depth of collections have increased dramatically in recent years.
Adidas Running (formerly Runtastic) is currently featured prominently in the Play Store as a dedicated card at the top of the watch’s app.
