Esha Gupta reflects on Bobby Deol's post-Animal fame: 'It's not the kind of movie that does anything for me, his life changed after Aashram'

Esha Gupta recently opened up about the powerful impact that Prakash Jha‘s Ashram series had on Bobby Deol’s acting career while praising the actor’s success and transformation after the show. In an interview with News X, Esha spoke about Bobby’s evolving career, especially after his recent performance in Animal. Though she hasn’t seen the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, Esha expressed her happiness for Bobby’s ‘much-deserved’ success, calling him the ‘nicest guy.’
When asked about her perspective on Bobby’s post-Animal fame, Esha shared, “I have not seen the movie. It is not the kind of movie that does anything for me. I love Bobby, and I think his life changed after Aashram. I feel it was his time, and a lot of credit goes to people and Prakash Sir for it. Bobby deserves it because he is hardworking and the nicest, most eloquent man that I’ve met.”
Esha also shared a humorous anecdote from a recent flight, where a fan excitedly referred to Bobby Deol as ‘Lord Bobby.’ “This guy wanted to take a picture with me and kept saying, ‘Lord Bobby… Lord Bobby…’ I said, ‘Listen, I’m going to tell Bobby this.’ He didn’t call him Bobby Deol, he called him Lord Bobby. That’s the beauty of society changing and OTT. Bobby Deol was not working, then Race happened but it didn’t do anything then. But then a story like this came and his career has changed. Bobby Deol is now Lord Bobby,” she added.
