On November 28, Shrima Rai addressed swirling assumptions with a pointed Instagram post. Reacting strongly, she clarified, “My birthday was on November 21, and as usual, flowers were sent. I thank everyone with a shout-out.” Her statement highlighted the simple truth behind the gesture, quelling internet buzz.
Notably, a section of netizens stirred controversy by accusing Shrima Rai of leveraging Aishwarya Rai’s name for business deals. Some even speculated that this led to a rift between Aishwarya and her brother, Aditya Raialleging that the couple was no longer living together. Shrima’s post seemingly addressed these claims.
Shrima Rai appeared to shut down speculations with a powerful response, spotlighting her accomplishments. She shared her journey from being a successful banker in Wealth Management to becoming a blogger and content creator. Shrima also proudly recounted her title as Gladrags Mrs. India Globe 2009, emphasizing her self-built career and independent achievements.
It was in 2017 that she transitioned into blogging and stated, “I have NEVER tried to open any business with anyone’s name.”
“I am clarifying things because these are facts. I have built an independent career as a content creator for years on my own and as a woman, I find it in poor taste of anyone to try to tear that fact down. For this my husband, mother-in-law and parents can vouch for that. As a mother, it is extremely important to me that facts are clear when my name is involved,” she added.
Meanwhile, Shrima shared a sweet picture with her mother-in-law, Brindya Rai, Aishwarya’s mother. She added a crown emoji and thanked her for supporting her and babysitting the kids during her getaway. In another story, she posted a screenshot of a chat where someone clarified their earlier comment was misunderstood.
