Comedian and actor Sunil Pal went missing for several hours after traveling outside Mumbai for a show. Unable to contact him, his wife filed a missing complaint on Tuesday at the Santacruz police station.
However, now, Film Trade analyst Greek Wankhede told ETimes, “He told me there was a problem but he is out of it. He is now taking a flight ftom Delhi for Mumbai.”
Senior police official of unit 9 Crime Branch Daya Nayak also confirmed to ETimes that the actor was found safe and is now returning home. They are now investigating on the facts of the case.
Earlier, reports suggested that Sunil Pal had traveled outside Mumbai for a show and was expected to return home on December 3. However, when he did not return and his wife, Sarita, was unable to reach him as his phone was unreachable, she grew concerned.
Sarita informed the police that despite repeatedly calling her husband, Sunil Pal, his phone eventually switched off after a few attempts. After waiting for several hours at their home without hearing from him, she decided to approach the Santacruz police and file a missing persons report.
