Referring to a letter dated December 4 and 5 from Sandhya Cine Enterprise 70 MM to the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Chikkadpally, the DCP explained, “This letter circulating in the media was a request for security arrangements for the release of ‘Pushpa 2’. Similar requests are common for events involving political figures, film stars, or religious activities. However, due to limited resources, it is not possible to provide security for all such events.”
Allu Arjun Gets Interim Relief: BJP, BRS Leaders Slam Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Over ‘Unfair Arrest’
Earlier today, Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with the death of a female fan during the premiere of his film, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The actor was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court, which affirmed his fundamental rights to life and liberty. Many actors and politicians have expressed their views, asserting that the actor should not be held responsible for the stampede in a public venue such as a theatre.
Following a complaint from the female fan’s husband, Bhaskar, a case was filed against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management at Chikkadpally Police Station. The family’s complaint led to charges under Sections 105 and 118(1) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
