As Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his birthday on Saturday (September 28), a clip from Rajkumar Hirani’s interview began circulating on the internet.In the clip, the director reveals a unique talent of the actor. While shooting for ‘Sanju’, many scenes required intense emotion, and Ranbir refused to use glycerin to bring tears to his eyes. Hirani explained that they would shoot emotional scenes lasting 40 to 50 seconds, and at just the right moment, a tear would naturally fall from Ranbir’s eye.
Amazed by this ability, Hirani frequently asked Ranbir how he managed it. The only response he ever received was, “I’m able to control my tear glands.” The director added that he has no idea how Ranbir does it, but he consistently delivers these powerful performances.
