During the screening of ‘Pushpa 2‘ at Sandhya Theater, a stampede tragically claimed the life of a woman and left her child critically injured. The child was hospitalized for an extended period but has now shown improvement, bringing relief to the family. After the child regained consciousness, Allu Arjun‘s father, Allu Aravind, visited him in the hospital to offer support and encouragement.
According to ABP News, after visiting the child injured in the Sandhya Theatre stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2, filmmaker Allu Aravind, father of actor Allu Arjun, expressed relief, saying, “After speaking to the doctors, we are very happy to know that the boy is recovering well.”
Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, further announced, “To support the child and his family, we have decided to donate a total of Rs 2 crore. Allu Arjun has contributed Rs 1 crore, while Rs 50 lakh each has been donated by the producers and the director. This amount is being handed over to Dil RajuChairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, to ensure it reaches the family.”
Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju shared, “As of today, the child’s condition has improved. The ₹2 crore donated by Allu Arjun, the producers of Pushpa, and director Sukumar will be used to support the child and his family. Tomorrow, members of the film industry plan to meet the Chief Minister (CM), with producers and actors likely to meet him in person. I have been entrusted by the CM to act as a bridge between the film industry and the government to ensure smooth coordination.”
‘Pushpa 2’ continues to dominate the box office, breaking multiple records. The film has earned over ₹1,600 crores worldwide, solidifying its status as a monumental blockbuster.
