‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’
Another dubbed Telugu blockbuster has taken over the box office this month. Taran Adarsh shared on his X handle on Tuesday morning that Pushpa 2 has made history by crossing the Rs 700 crore mark on its 19th day, setting a new record. The film’s amazing success continues, and with Christmas and New Year celebrations ahead, it’s expected to keep breaking records. The Hindi version of the movie, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has currently earned Rs 704.25 crore.
'Street 2'
Earlier this year, Amar Kaushik’s horror comedy made history as the first Hindi film to enter the Rs 600 crore club at the Indian box office. The sequel stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee.
‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’
The dubbed version of SS Rajamouli’s 2017 historical epic made massive strides by becoming the first Hindi film to surpass both the Rs 400 crore and Rs 500 crore marks at the domestic box office, despite being a Telugu film. The movie stars PrabhasAnushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, and Ramya Krishnan.

The dream team achieved another milestone when Vinod, Rajkumar, and Aamir’s 2014 sci-fi satire became the first film to establish the Rs 300 crore club at the Indian box office. The film also starred Anushka SharmaSushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, and Saurabh Shukla.
‘3 Idiots’
Another Aamir Khan-starrer made history in 2010 by becoming the first Hindi film to earn Rs 200 crore at the domestic box office. Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the coming-of-age comedy also featured Kareena Kapoor, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, and Boman Irani.
'Ghajini'
AR Murugadoss’ 2008 revenge saga Ghajini, starring Aamir Khan and Asin, became the first Hindi film to earn ₹100 crore at the Indian box office. It was a remake of Murugadoss’ 2005 Tamil hit of the same name. Just before Ghajini, Farah Khan’s 2007 reincarnation saga Om Shanti Om, starring Shah Rukh Khan, became the first Hindi film to earn Rs 90 crore in India. The following year, Vipul Shah’s comedy Singh Is Kinng, starring Akshay Kumar, also made waves at the box office.
