Besides captivating her fans with her music, Taylor Swift recently released her much-anticipated book ‘Eras Tour Book.’ She wrote the book to commemorate her record-breaking world tour. It highlights all the beautiful, memorable moments of Taylor and her tour; however, there’s someone, who is very important to the singer, yet didn’t get a mention in the book. We are talking about Taylor’s boyfriend and Kansas City Chief Travis Kelce.
The book nowhere mentions Travis, though he has been one of the biggest parts of Taylor’s life and his support during her tour has always given couple goals. The omission or straightaway absence of Travis has sparked a debate among Taylor’s fans leading to mixed reactions.
“Im [sic] surprised Travis’ performance on stage is not in the book unless it happened too late,” mentioned one of the fans on X.
Fans are surprised and some are even disappointed with the zero mention of Travis, especially because of his surprise appearance during Taylor’s London show in June. He performed with the singer on ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart,’ and was featured wearing a top hat and three-piece suit.
It was a delight for the fans to see their beloved sports star in such an adorable avatar. At the same time, to see a man going the extra mile to support his lady love always melts hearts.
However, some fans defended Taylor and said the book is about her and her tour and not about her boyfriend. Some even said the book ends before the surprise performance of Travis, which included the romantic gesture of Travis picking up the ‘Lover’ singer in his arms and carrying her to a red couch at the center of the stage.
“The book was finished before [the performance] and no surprise guests were featured,” read a post.
Yet, fans continue to have an opinion that doesn’t settle down well with the decision of not mentioning Travis, when he was the person to whom the track of ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ album was dedicated.
