Karan Aujla's Rs 15 lakh VVIP tickets for 'It Was All A Dream' tour SOLD OUT

Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has hit the headlines once again, this time, it is not for his chart-topping songs, but the exorbitant ticket prices for his upcoming ‘It Was All A Dream’ tour.
Aujla went viral on social media after many took note of his concert tickets selling out despite the high Rs 15 lakh prices. The singer, making waves for hits like ‘Tauba Tauba’, ‘Gangsta’, ‘Players’, among others, is set to perform across India in December, with stops in Chandigarh, Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Mumbai.
The tickets which are on sale on a booking app are available for prices ranging from Rs 1,999 to a jaw-dropping Rs 15 lakh. Interestingly, the VVIP tickets that cost an estimated Rs 15 lakh, have sold out. Tickets priced at Rs 7999, Rs 14999 and Rs 24999 have also sold out.
Other tickets priced at Rs 2.5 lakh, Rs 5 lakh, and Rs 10 lakh remain available.
This comes after fellow Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh came under fire for selling his concert tickets for as much as Rs 54 lakh. The high demand for the tour tickets, reportedly led to ticket scalping, prompting resellers to put tickets up for grabs for as much as $64,000. The singer’s North American leg of his tour generated close to $28 million (Rs 234 crore).

Aujla is currently one of the biggest acts in the country with several hit Bollywood numbers to his credit. In a recent interview with IANS, the singer admitted to feeling pressured in raising the bar with each new song. “There’s a certain level of pressure that comes with consistently releasing hit songs. Each release brings high expectations from my fans and the industry, which can be both motivating and daunting. I always strive to give my best, and while I love creating music, the fear of not meeting those expectations can sometimes be overwhelming. However, I try to focus on my passion for music rather than the charts.”
