Arjun Kapoor says Ranbir Kapoor does not ‘overtly engage’ in public relations and refers to himself as a ‘newcomer’ in this field

The industry’s PR mechanism has remained stable over time, and many celebrities have used it. Arjun Kapoorwho is currently basking in the success of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’, also shared his thoughts on the same. He stated that there is no public relations team for Ranbir Kapoor.
During an interview with Pinkvilla, Arjun Kapoor was questioned about how PR is changing to keep up with the times. To which, she responded, “It’s important, and I’ll be very honest with this age group. I feel like an old man saying this, bahut kharab lag raha hai bolte hue (I feel very bad saying this), but it’s not entirely their fault. Their attention span is very short, so you need to remind people, and maybe underline it because there’s a lot going on in their lives and on social media.”
He also underlined the need of making decisions regarding one’s likes and dislikes in the middle of so much going on. Noting that trends shift daily, he said he thinks it’s important to remind people that even if they haven’t watched the movie, their decision may be influenced by someone else’s opinion.
The actor emphasized the value of making an effort rather than depending only on the movie to do speak for itself. He shared, “Your personality has become interlinked with how much reaction or connection you get with the audience,” said Arjun. He further added, “I think there’s an anomaly to that, and that’s Ranbir (Kapoor). He does it really well. He’s someone who doesn’t overtly engage.”
Arjun acknowledged that the audience might only remember him for a short time if he didn’t do any public relations. He could, however, establish a lasting bond with the audience if he talked from the heart and showed his true emotions. He claimed that when his next movie is released, people will remember him for being a genuine person and for playing Danger Lankawhich gives him credibility and encourages people to spend time and money viewing his movies.
Arjun also said that one shouldn’t overthink it when asked about people who use PR as a tool adversely. As a “newcomer,” he sees public relations as merely a means of reestablishing contact with the public. It ought to be utilized for discussing one’s work and for genuine self-expression.
Rohit Shetty, who is enjoying the success of his recently released cop drama ‘Singham Again’, delivered on its promise of a massy entertainment, and it rocked the box office. Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh joined them as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi and ACP Sangram Bhalerao, also known as Simmba, while Ajay Devgn made a comeback as DCP Bajirao Singham and Kareena Kapoor Khan as Avni. This year, Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone also joined the police squad. However, many were left surprised by Arjun Kapoor’s casting as Danger Lanka, symbolic of Ravan.
