Natasa Stankovic has been in the news since announcing her separation from cricketer Hardik Pandyaafter nearly 5 years together. Following their split, the actress headed home to Serbia, fuelling speculation that she would be miles away from her estranged husband, raising her son, Agastya.
Now, in her latest interview, Stankovic is addressing the rumours about her personal life. Opening up to Times of India, Natasa reveled if she plans on relocating once her divorce is finalised. “There’s talk that I’m going back [to Serbia],” Natasa said. “But how would I go back?” she asked.
Emphasising her commitment to co-parenting Agastya with Hardik, she said, “I have a child. He goes to school here, and there’s no chance… the child belongs here, with his family. At the end of the day, we [Hardik and I] are still a family because of him.”
Natasa explained that her recent trip to Serbia, which sparked the rumours, was part of her regular visits to her home country. “It’s been 10 years, and I go every year around the same time,” she shared.
In July, Natasa and Hardik officially announced their separation in a social media post. The confirmation came amidst rumours that the two would be parting ways. In their post, the estranged couple revealed that their divorce was a “mutual decision” after trying their best to make their four-year marriage work. While the two have seemingly moved on, they have been committed to maintaining a strong co-parenting relationship for their son.
