However, fans noticed a resemblance to another well-known character, joking that Zuckerberg looked more like Severus Snape from ‘Harry Potter’ than John Wick.

Zuckerberg wore a sleek black suit and tie with bloodstains on his face. While sharing the pictures, he wrote, “When your house full of girls decides to be ballerinas, be John Wick.”
One fan asked, “Is that Severus?” and another described him as a “mix: John Wick and Severus Snape, Zuckerberg Edition.” Some even coined the nickname “Mark Wick” for him. Zuckerberg himself responded to the comments, saying, “To be fair, August says she’s a bananarina and Priscilla is a pinatarina,” as his wife Priscilla Chan and their daughters opted for a softer theme, dressing as colorful ballerinas.
Meanwhile, Aravind Srinivasthe Indian-origin CEO of Perplexity AI, also joined in the Halloween spirit by dressing up as Zuckerberg himself. Wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, dark sunglasses, and a silver chain, Srinivas perfectly captured Zuckerberg’s classic casual style. He posted a photo on Twitter and amused followers by promising to dress as OpenAI CEO Sam Altman next Halloween. “Halloween costume. Next year I will do @sama. Congrats on the launch,” he wrote.
Altman soon responded humorously, saying, “Like an ill-fitting hoodie and Lego Adidas shoes? Congrats on a truly great product!”.
‘John Wick’ is a 2014 action-thriller directed by Chad Stahelski with a screenplay by Derek Kolstad. The film stars Keanu Reeves as John Wick, a legendary assassin who returns from retirement to exact vengeance on the men responsible for killing his dog.
