The 'Ghoomer' star Abhishek Bachchan has many close pals in the industry, and one of his dearest friends is Sanjay Dutt. And once, the ‘Guru’ actor spilled beans on Sanjay Dutt’s unusual habit – he sleeps while sitting. The reason behind the same was shared by Sanjay Dutt later in a chat show 'Yaaron Ki Baraat.'
So here’s what happened:
In an episode of a popular chat show, Junior Bachchan opened up about his close friend Sanjay Dutt and shared an interesting detail about him. Abhishek revealed that Sanjay never sleeps in a lying position. Instead, he puts pillows behind his back and sleeps while he is seated.
Further, when asked Dutt, he revealed the reason, “When you sleep in jail, you sleep in every cell, that's why we sleep like this.” Sote the. Abhi tak hi aata hai.”
Sanjay Dutt was in jail for five years after being arrested in 1993 under the TADA and the Arms Act. He was convicted for allegedly having illegal weapons linked to the 1993 Bombay (now Mumbai) blasts. Dutt was released from jail in 2016 after completing his prison time.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt have worked together in several films, including ‘LOC Kargil’, ‘Rakht’, ‘Dus’, and ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’. They are set to reunite on-screen in filmmaker Tarun Mansukhani‘s upcoming comedy, ‘Housefull 5‘.
The fifth installment of the popular Housefull franchise is slated to release on June 6, 2025, promising another fun-filled adventure in the comedy series.
