Aamir Khanalong with his family, was seen visiting his ex-wife Reena Dutta – The Best Of Reena Dutta’s home in Mumbai on Wednesday evening following the passing of her father. Their daughter, Ira Khanand her husband, Nupur Shikharewere also present to offer condolences. Fatima Sana ShaikhAamir’s Dangal co-star, arrived with Aamir’s sister, Nikhat Khan. Other family members paid their respects as well.
Aamirand Reena, who got married in 1986, share two children, Junaid and Ira. Junaid recently made his acting debut in Maharaj, while Ira has stayed away from the film industry and recently married Nupur Shikhare, Aamir’s former fitness trainer.

Reena briefly contributed to Aamir’s career as an executive producer on his Oscar-nominated film Lagaan. The couple divorced in 2002, with Aamir taking custody of their children. Later, in 2005, Aamir married Kiran Raoand they welcomed their son Azad via surrogacy in 2011. Aamir and Kiran separated in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son.
Aamir’s last film, Laal Singh Chaddha, an adaptation of Forrest Gump, was a box-office disappointment. He will next appear in Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by R. S. Prasanna, a remake of the Spanish film Champions, also starring Genelia Deshmukh. The movie, produced by Aamir and Kiran Rao, wrapped filming in India in early 2024.
